Fixing Bad Light Before You Shoot
How to spot lighting problems early and correct them before pressing the shutter
By Steve Howdle
About the Event
Most lighting problems can be fixed in seconds… as long as you spot them before you start shooting. Fixing Bad Light Before You Shoot is a practical session designed to help you recognise the most common lighting issues early and correct them quickly, saving you time, stress, and heavy editing later.
You’ll learn how to read light properly, identify what looks “off” in the moment, and make simple adjustments that instantly improve your results. Whether it’s unflattering shadows, messy catchlights, uneven light fall, shiny skin, dull eyes, or flat lighting with no shape, this session gives you a clear process for fixing it before the shutter ever clicks.
